The second release on the newly tooled Pioneer, it features an authentic livery with a difference for a recovery truck - that of the British Overseas Airways Corporation, whose head office was adjacent to London Heathrow. The famous British airline was formed in 1939. In 1946 it expanded its operations to fly longhaul, merging with British European Airways in 1974 to become what we all know now as British Airways. The model, registered CLM 579H and painted in corporate pale blue, comes with a winch and crane. Additional features include detailed BOAC decals on the side doors, rear lights and a fleet number 177 on the offside front, below the windscreen.
