FABRIC RESEARCH AND TREATMENT

HAND COLOURING ON DAVID-TC WITH PRIMALOFT® INSULATION TECHNOLOGY: Half-zip hooded vest in David-TC. Beginning with a star-shaped Japanese polyester/polyamide substrate, garments in David-TC are sewn and then simultaneously garment dyed and treated with an anti-drop agent. During the dye process, under pressure at 130°C, the fabric undergoes heat-induced compression, radically transforming its hand and body. The finished garment is treated manually with colour spots, with pigments engineered for polyester bases, treated with a fixer and then washed. Each garment is unique and unrepeatable. The garment is padded with a PrimaLoft® layer, an exclusive blend of ultra-thin fibres providing exceptional insulating capacity. PrimaLoft® is developed to stay drier even when wet. It delivers the highest warmth-to-weight ratio of all synthetic insulations.

STYLE

Padded hood with contour drawstring. Neck zip fastening edged by piping covered with polyester tape and external snap-fastened strap. At waist on front, fixed flap hiding two pockets, fastened by hidden snaps on fabric loops. On top, extra detachable polyester mesh pocket, attached by snaps. At waist on back, fixed flap hiding two pockets, one fastened by long hidden zip, the other by hidden snap. White Stone Island Fabric Research badge on the left bottom side. Zip fastening on the right side, edged by piping covered with polyester tape.
